Succession Wealth (Gourock) is celebrating the success of the launch of its new seminar series after attracting a global asset management firm, Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA) to an event at Gourock Golf Club.
Founded in 2009, Succession Wealth is the UK’s largest privately-owned independent wealth management and financial planning business with its Inverclyde office at Kempock Place in Gourock.
The Gourock-based wealth management firm welcomed fifteen clients and visitors to the Development Studio in Gourock to hear from DFA’s Regional Director, Blair Anderson.
Founded in 1981, DFA has a long history of applying academic research to practical investing, managing over $600bn of assets across 13 global locations and employing 1,400 staff.
Blair Anderson provided a rare insight into the DFA method of investing and the secret to driving the best returns, as well as sharing insights into DFA’s relationship with the academic community which has served its investors so well over several decades.
Hosted by Succession Wealth’s Regional Partner, Robert MacDonald this event was the first of several opportunities for investors of all ages to learn more about how Succession Wealth can support individual wealth management.
Reflecting on the seminar, Robert said:
“I’d like to thank both Blair and DFA for supporting this unique insight into wealth management and further strengthening our ten-year collaboration in working together.
“The feedback from attendees was excellent and the team at Succession Wealth in Gourock welcome both existing clients and curious investors to join us at future seminars or drop in to see us in Kempock Place.”
Succession Wealth has over 600 dedicated staff located across a range of offices throughout the UK, with over 20,000 individuals, families and corporations entrusting Succession Wealth with over £8bn of assets.
